Four Restaurants In One Night!!

SUPER FUN VLOG WITH LOTS AND LOTS OF FOOD! :D

2 min read

This one is just me, taking you along on a food tour through Islamabad with a bunch of friends. Four restaurants, one night, and a whole lot of laughter. I had been ridiculously busy, and honestly, I just needed a night where the only decision was what to eat next.

The plan, sort of

We were supposed to meet at a boutique hotel in F6, then hop on a bus and hit four spots. A coffee and dessert tour, they said. I was already hungry because I skipped breakfast, so I was counting down the minutes.

Traffic and the late arrival panic

Islamabad traffic did what it does best. We were 20 minutes late, and I kept thinking we would be the only ones. But when we got there, almost everyone else was stuck too. There is something comforting about collective lateness. It takes the pressure off.

First stop: coffee and chaos

We landed at a coffee shop, and I remember standing in the dark trying to figure out if the camera could even see me. The group was loud, everyone settling in, calling out orders. I heard someone say, “I’m so hungry right now I can’t even,” and I felt that in my soul. We ordered cappuccinos, iced lattes, macarons, banana and mozzarella sticks. Yes, that combination. It was chaotic and perfect.

Ordering without overthinking

I decided to try the jalapeno chicken and something with fish. No second guessing. When the food came, I was genuinely surprised. “The food here is excellent,” I remember saying, because it was. That moment when you realize you can actually order this at home next time, and it will be just as good. A small win.

The group picture moment

Of course, we had to document it. Everyone gathered for the Instagram picture, debating captions, fixing angles. Somebody joked about looking too young, somebody else about the lighting. It was loud, messy, and exactly the kind of memory you want to keep.

Why nights like this stay with you

It was not about the food, really. It was about saying yes to something spontaneous when life had been all work and no play. About laughing with friends over mozzarella sticks and coffee at odd hours. These are the small things that fill you up.
