Some things that annoy me!
Just giving you some insight on the annoyed side of me ;D lol
2 min read
This one is just me, and I am letting you in on the annoyed side of me. The little things. The stuff that makes me roll my eyes when no one is looking, or maybe even when they are. Because sometimes you just need to say it out loud, you know?
It is the small stuff
I am not talking about the big life frustrations. I mean the tiny, everyday moments that poke at you. The wet towel left on the bed when you are already tired. The group chat that decides to ping twenty times while you are trying to focus. The leftover spoon in the sugar jar that always has sticky bits. These things are so small, but in the moment they feel so large.
Why I am not apologizing
When I first sat down to record, I thought, is this silly? Should I even share these? But then I remembered something. We all have a list. And there is something oddly comforting in hearing someone else say, this annoys me, and knowing you feel the same way. As I said at the start, “just giving you some insight on the annoyed side of me.” No guilt, no overthinking. Just honesty.
Laughing through the annoyances
The funny part is that once you say them out loud, half the annoyance melts. You realize a missing bottle cap or a badly stacked dishwasher is not a crisis. It is just life. And when you can laugh about it with a friend, or even with yourself, those small things lose their power. They become little stories instead of little stressors.
A little permission for you
So here is your invitation. Next time something tiny sets you off, notice it. Laugh at it if you can. And if you need to, text a friend and say, guess what annoyed me today? I bet they have one to share right back. That exchange, that tiny connection, is the small thing that matters.
